Mark Lorson

Mark Lorson has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. Mark began their career as a Volunteer Pharmacist at HealthNet of Rock County Inc. in 2011 and later worked as a Clinical Pharmacist/Stretch Supervisor at CVS Health, where they performed clinical coverage determination and appeal reviews for Medicare recipients. Mark also served as a Pharmacy Manager and PIC, achieving high patient satisfaction scores and maintaining efficient workflow.

Mark then joined Meriter-UnityPoint Health as a Discharge Pharmacist, where they educated patients on drug/disease state counseling and provided drug information resources for care coordination. During this time, they also served as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mark later worked as a Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist at Dovetail Health, focusing on patient compliance through consultation and education. Mark also targeted specific patient treatment populations to increase STAR performance ratings.

Mark Lorson obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University in 2009. Mark then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, Mark holds certifications including Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist and Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist from the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
