Amber Barnes Dtr

Amber Barnes DTR has over a decade of experience in nutrition and dietary services. Currently serving as a WIC Nutritionist at Neighborhood Health since January 2012, Amber engages clients in nutrition education, evaluates their nutritional status, determines eligibility for WIC, and supports breastfeeding clients. Previously, Amber worked as a Dietary Aide at DeKalb Health, where responsibilities included monitoring dietary restrictions and assisting with food preparation. Amber began the professional journey as an intern at Super Suppers Perrysburg-Maumee, focusing on gluten-free menu design and nutritional analysis. Amber holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Bowling Green State University, earned between 2007 and 2010.
