Dr. Melissa Rinehart, CFRM has a strong background in the non-profit and educational sectors. Dr. Melissa is currently serving as the Director of Education at Neighborhood Health since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director at Wellspring Interfaith Social Services from December 2018 to July 2022. Dr. Rinehart also has a long history of working in academia as an Assistant Professor at different state universities from August 1996 to May 2016.
Dr. Melissa Rinehart, CFRM, has a diverse educational background in Cultural Anthropology, Political Science, Anthropology, Spanish, and Fundraising Management. Dr. Melissa obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, MA) degree in Cultural Anthropology from Michigan State University, where they attended from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Cultural Anthropology from The University of Texas at San Antonio, which they attended from 1993 to 1996. Dr. Melissa completed their undergraduate studies at Purdue University Fort Wayne from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Political Science, Anthropology, and Spanish. In 2019, Dr. Rinehart obtained a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Eli Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
