Carol Scott North

Carol Scott North is an experienced educator and program administrator with a career spanning over two decades in various teaching and leadership roles. Currently serving as an Adult Education Substitute Teacher at Neighborhood House since August 2018, Carol previously held multiple positions at St. Paul Preparatory School, including Spanish and English Teacher, ESL Co-Teacher, and Director of Outreach and Host Family Relations. Carol has a strong background in managing international student programs through roles such as Director of Short Term Programs at Nacel Open Door, Inc., and Deputy Director of the Youth Exchange and Service Program, where responsibilities included grant administration and program oversight. Carol's teaching experience also includes providing comprehensive ESL instruction at CEDEI, where interactive techniques were utilized to enhance student learning. Educational qualifications include a TEFL Certificate from Hamline University, a Master's in Management and Administration from Metro State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in General Humanities from the University of Oregon.
