John Lawrence

John Lawrence is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and legal affairs. Currently serving as a Middle School Math Teacher at Neighborhood House Charter School since August 2019, John previously participated as a 2019 Corps Member with Teach for America. Prior to transitioning to education, John held various senior leadership positions in the medical field, including Vice President of Business Development at NxStage Medical and Vice President at Liberty Dialysis LLC, where responsibilities included market identification and physician recruitment for investment opportunities. John's legal expertise includes roles as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Fresenius Medical Care, where John advised on litigation matters, and as Counsel at both Sally & Fitch LLP and Hill & Barlow, focusing on commercial litigation. John holds a Masters in Curricula and Teaching from Boston University, a JD from Harvard Law School, and a BA in History from Yale University.
