Scott Urban

Scott Urban has a diverse work experience. Scott started their career as a Laborer at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2012 to May 2014. Scott then worked as an Environmental Educator and Skilled Laborer for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, where they educated the public on local ecology from April 2014 to December 2014. Scott also served as the Education Director at ReGreen Springfield, where they organized environmental education programs for the Springfield, MA area from November 2014 to March 2015.

From May 2016 to October 2016, Scott worked as a Skilled Laborer at the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, where they conducted trail and recreational area maintenance. Scott also served as a Paraprofessional at Agawam High School from October 2016 to August 2018, assisting students with social and behavioral needs and providing academic support in various science subjects.

Scott's experience includes working as a Level 1 Crossfit Trainer at Crossfit Catch from February 2017 to September 2018, where they developed specialized programming for group fitness classes and instructed classes of 20-25 people. Scott also worked as a Skilled Laborer at The Westmoor Club from April 2015 to the present, managing tasks related to the aesthetic value of the club's property and aiding in the acquisition of environmental certification.

Currently, Scott holds the position of Athletic Director at Neighborhood House Charter School, a role they have held since July 2018. In this role, they have built and developed an athletic program from scratch, created a school-wide Athletic Culture to generate student interest, and coordinated with government entities to secure permits for school and visiting schools to play on fields/courts.

Scott Urban completed their Bachelor's of Science degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2010 to 2014. Scott then pursued further education and obtained a Master's of Science degree in Sports Leadership from the Van Loan School at Endicott College from 2020 to 2022.
