Nelson Kimilu Mutua

Nelson Kimilu Mutua is currently an Officer at the Nyandarua County Government. Previously, they were a Strategy Consultant at Neki from 2018-2020, Senior Marketing Executive at AAR Insurance Kenya Ltd from 2006-2014, Business Development and Marketing at AIC Cure International Hospital Kijabe from 2014-2008, Marketing and Public Relations Director at AIC Kijabe Hospital from 2008-2004, and Sales Executive and Marketing Intern at Bidco Oil Refineries Limited Kenya from 2004-2006. During their time at AIC Cure International Hospital Kijabe, they grew the annual turnover from Kshs 140 million to Kshs 300 million within three years and initiated beyond Zero Partnership with the first Lady Kenya. At AIC Kijabe Hospital, they initiated new revenue streams and grew the hospital revenue turnover from 330 million to 900 million. At Bidco Oil Refineries Limited Kenya, they eliminated departmental losses stemming from excess cost and process inefficiencies and initiated cross training and employee development.

Nelson Kimilu Mutua has an education history that began in 2002 and has continued to the present day. In 2002-2003, they obtained a Diploma in Marketing and Public Relations from Thika College of Banking. From 2009-2011, they earned a Bachelors of Business Administration (Management Option) from St. Paul Limuru University, with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General. From 2012-2014, they earned a Masters in Business Administration from Maseno University, with a field of study in Strategic Management. Finally, from 2018-2020, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi, with a field of study in Strategic Management. Additionally, they obtained a Best Healthcare Brand certification from AIC H in February 2018.
