Stein Ove Erdal

Stein Ove Erdal's work experience includes roles as the Senior Vice President Legal and General Counsel at Nel Hydrogen since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President Legal and General Counsel at Nel Hydrogen from May 2019 to December 2021. Before joining Nel Hydrogen, Erdal worked as an Associate General Counsel at Nexans Norway AS, primarily handling contract review and negotiation in the subsea segment. Stein Ove also worked as a Deputy Judge at Fjordane District Court and as an Associate at Advokatfirmaet Staff AS. Additionally, Erdal has experience as a Lawyer at Arntzen de Besche, where they provided legal advice to clients in the oil and energy industry on various issues such as HSE-law, environmental and energy law, and contract review.

Stein Ove Erdal pursued their education chronologically, beginning in 1996 at Lørenskog Videregående Skole, where they studied in the Almennfaglig studieretning. Stein Ove then joined The Royal Norwegian Navy in 1998 and completed their degree in Military police in 1999. Following this, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a Cand. jur. degree in Law.
