Claire Varley has a diverse work experience in the education and marketing industries. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Pearson Education Canada as a Sales and Editorial Representative, followed by a role as a Sales Representative. In 2011, they became a Customer Experience Manager and later a Marketing Manager at the same company until 2017. In 2017, Claire joined the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board as an Educator for a period of nine months. Since 2017, they have been working at Nelson, where they started as a Senior Marketing Manager and then progressed to the role of Senior Edwin Classroom Success Facilitator. In 2019, they became the Director of Edwin Classroom Success Ed-Tech Training, K-20 Division, and as of 2023, they are currently the Executive Director of Edwin Classroom Success.
Claire Varley obtained a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Canisius University from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from York University from 1994 to 1998. Claire Varley also holds a certification from the Ontario College of Teachers.
