Rick Tully is the Director of Design Engineering at Nelson Engineering Co. Rick has over 15 years of experience in the engineering and spaceport industry. Rick has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Rick started their career in 2005 as a Manager, Plans & Programs at Space Coast Launch Services. Rick was responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the company's engineering program. In 2018, Rick became the Manager, Work Control at PSP - Base Operations Spaceport Services (BOSS). In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all work control activities for the spaceport.

In 2020, Rick joined SAIC as a Project Manager II supporting the NASA KSC Facility Engineering Support Services II (KFESS II) contract. Rick provided life cycle project management for task orders and facility related projects at KSC. In March 2021, Rick joined Nelson Engineering Co. as their Director of Design Engineering.

Rick Tully has a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University. Their certification from the Project Management Institute is in Project Management Professional (PMP).

Rick Tully reports to Blain Nelson, President. Rick Tully works with Jim Miles - Director of Business Development, Jason Menzies - Director of Mechanical Engineering, and Jeff Longshore - Director of Civil Engineering.
