Rick Vance has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rick is currently the Director of Quality at NEMO Equipment since 2022. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, Rick served as the VP of Quality at Black Diamond Equipment, overseeing global quality systems and being responsible for risk assessment and continuous improvement. From 2009 to 2016, they worked as the Technical Director at Petzl America, managing technical product information and advising on risk management and product quality. Rick also has experience as a Senior Research Engineer at Harold K. Dunn, M.D., Orthopaedic Research Laboratory from 2002 to 2009, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, U.S.Navy from 1999 to 2002.
Rick Vance attended Widener University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
