Irene Michlin

Irene Michlin is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in application security and software engineering. Currently serving as Application Security Lead at Neo4j since September 2021, Irene previously held the position of AppSec practice lead for EMEA at IBM, leading a consultancy center in the region. Irene's extensive experience includes roles at NCC Group as Principal Security Consultant, where the focus was on security development lifecycle practices, and as Managing Consultant performing technical security assessments. Additional experience includes Scrum Master roles at Vivastreet and leadership positions at Sophos, McAfee, and other technology firms, showcasing expertise in agile methodologies, architecture, malware detection systems, and software development across diverse platforms. Irene holds a BA in computer science and economics from Tel Aviv University and has previous educational credentials from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
