Nester Marchenko

Nester Marchenko is a seasoned data engineer with extensive experience in software engineering and data processing. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Neo4j since September 2024, Nester has previously held key roles such as Principal Software Engineer at Uptycs, focusing on high-performance data processing backend services, and Senior Software Engineer at Cadence, where backend platform development and integration with EMR systems were primary responsibilities. As Data Engineering Lead at Very Good Security, Nester led a team to design and develop a robust data processing platform. Nester's career includes significant contributions as a Principal Software Engineer at Elastic, developing the analytics platform for Elastic Cloud, and as a Solutions Architect at Avast Software, working on machine learning algorithms for network traffic anomaly detection. With a strong foundation in backend solutions and team leadership, Nester has also managed high-performing backend transitions at AVG and acted as a project and technical lead at Unisys and EPAm.
