Valeria Martinuzzi has a diverse work experience. Valeria began their career in 2013 as a Wound Healing and Tissue Engineering Laboratory at Brigham and Women's Hospital. In 2014 they worked as an Engineering Intern at DE LORENZO USA, LLC where they developed 18 manuals and translated them from Italian to Spanish and English. In 2015 they were a Supply Support Team Lead - Emergency Department at Massachusetts General Hospital where they supervised the overnight team and managed the stock of hundreds of supplies. In 2018 they worked as an R&D Co-op at BD where they designed and developed a Hemostat delivery device, taking it from the ideation stage, product concept, to prototype development and intellectual property protection. In 2019 they were a Co-Founder at Venova Technologies, Inc and a Senior Project Engineer and R&D Project Engineer at Neocis Inc.
Valeria Martinuzzi received a Master of Science (M.S.) in Bioengineering from Northeastern University between 2017 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Electromechanical Engineering with a Concentration in Biomedical Systems Engineering between 2010 and 2015.
