Raquel Gomez-Eerland, MSc, is a scientist with extensive experience in immunology and cancer research. Currently serving as a Scientist and previously as Principal Research Associate and Process Developer at Neogene Therapeutics since February 2019, Raquel focuses on enhancing T-cell anti-tumor responses and is involved in setting up clinical phase trials for TCR gene therapy in a GMP facility. Prior to this, Raquel worked at AVL-NKI from 2002 to February 2019 as a Research Assistant and Technician, emphasizing T-cell immunological functions. Raquel's earlier research experience includes a role as a Junior Scientist at the University of Amsterdam (1998-2001), focusing on the biology of natural products from sponges, and as a Management Project Worker at Hogeschool van Amsterdam (1996-1997), where Raquel reorganized student shops. Raquel holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in Biology Teaching from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
