Elspeth Body

Elspeth Body has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Starting in 2007, they worked at Bristol City Council as an Intelligent Transport Systems Officer until 2012. Following this, they joined the Environment Agency in 2012, where they held multiple positions including Data Sharing Technical Specialist, Mapping Officer for Incident Support, Data & Information Technical Officer, and Incident Management & Health Adviser. In 2017, Elspeth transitioned to Defra as a Fiscal Strategy Adviser before joining the NERC: Natural Environment Research Council in 2018. At NERC, they served as Head of Strategy and Planning until 2022, when they assumed the role of Head of Strategic Engagement.

Elspeth Body attended the University of Bristol from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as an ISTQB Software Tester from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, in December 2014.
