Dan Lee, Chief Analytics Officer, oversees the development and application of advanced analytics at Nerdy. Prior to joining the company, Dan led engineering and decision science teams at Sears Home Services, responsible for the predictive diagnostics platform built on the nation’s largest dataset of appliance repair and component failure. He also led product engineering teams at Thomson Reuters Healthcare (now IBM Watson Health) and co-architected the business intelligence platform for the Hospitals and Providers portfolio built on one of the largest US inpatient, all-payer databases of its kind. Dan spent the earlier part of his career building decision management platforms at FICO. Dan studied Math and Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and lives in Seattle with his wife and daughter.
