Jose Luis González Álvarez

Jose Luis González Álvarez is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in railway signaling projects and engineering management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering HUB at NERTUS (Siemens Group) since January 2021, Jose Luis is tasked with creating a comprehensive Engineering Centre encompassing the full Engineering cycle. Previously, Jose Luis held the position of Head of Test & Commissioning at Siemens, where responsibilities included managing resources for railway signaling projects and aligning operational scope with CENELEC regulations. With a background as a Senior System Engineer at Bombardier Transportation, Jose Luis has led teams in project management and test commissioning for significant underground railway projects in Istanbul. An early career as CEO of LOGON Ingeniería and an electrical designer solidified a foundation in engineering and project execution, supported by an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
