Britta Folmer has over two decades of experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Manager at Nestlé Nespresso SA since 2007, where additional roles have included Science and Nutrition Manager and Portfolio and Coffee Development Manager. Britta serves as a member of the Events Advisory Council for the Specialty Coffee Association since November 2014 and previously worked at Nestlé from 2001 to 2007 as a Product Area Coordinator for Dairy Products and as a Research Scientist. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Surface Chemistry from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Human Nutrition from the University of Lausanne, and a Master's degree in Chemistry from Utrecht University.
