Jeffrey Weng

Jeffrey Weng is currently serving as the Chief of Staff and Monetary Analysis Team Chief for Professor Steve H. Hanke at the Institute for Applied Economics, Global Health, and the Study of Business Enterprise since May 2023, where Jeffrey also works as a Research Assistant on a monetary analysis project. In addition, Jeffrey holds multiple roles at Nest Strategies - JHU American Marketing Association, including Vice President of Consulting and Account Executive. As an Associate at HopStone Capital, a student-run venture capital firm focused on investing in pre-series A startups founded by Johns Hopkins affiliates, Jeffrey contributes valuable insights to the investment process. Further experience includes consulting internships at FOAF and DDI | Development Dimensions International. Jeffrey Weng is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Applied Mathematics and Statistics at The Johns Hopkins University, having previously earned an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma from Dulwich College Beijing.
