Amanda Small has held various roles in the field of human resources and people management. Amanda is currently the VP of People and Culture at Nest Wealth, where they focus on integrating people-centric initiatives and optimizing organizational performance. Prior to this, Amanda served as the VP of People & Culture at CanadaHelps, a registered charity and social enterprise dedicated to increasing charitable giving across Canada. Amanda has also held positions such as Head of People and Culture at Nest Wealth, Director of People & Culture at Inpixon and Jibestream, and Community Manager at MENTORnetwork.CA. Furthermore, Amanda has experience in talent and communications management at Istuary Innovation Group, as well as co-founding an organization called TEN. A. CITY that connects artists with mentors. Amanda also worked as a recruitment coordinator and program coordinator at Guldagergaard- International Ceramic Research Center. Amanda has received recognition for their work, including being a NC Arts Fellowship Awardee in 2012-2013.
Amanda Small earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from California State University, Chico from 1999 to 2004. Amanda then pursued a Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship in Ceramic Arts and Ceramics at the University of Florida from 2004 to 2005. Finally, they completed their education with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts/Sculpture from Kansas State University from 2006 to 2009.
