Derry Begho

Derry Begho is an experienced events professional currently serving as Events Lead at Nesta since April 2022, following a tenure as Events Manager. Prior experience includes roles such as Events and External Affairs Manager and External Engagement Officer at NatCen Social Research between November 2018 and April 2022, and External Affairs and Stakeholder Officer at Asthma UK from April 2011 to November 2018. Derry Begho has also held a position as Councillor at the London Borough of Bexley from May 2014 to May 2018, and served as Policy and Public Affairs Intern at the British Lung Foundation for a brief period. Early career experience includes working as a Parliamentary Researcher for Dawn Butler MP. Derry Begho holds a LLM in International Law, International Relations from the University of Kent, as well as a degree in Politics and International Relations from the same institution.
