Tim Shakespeare

Tim Shakespeare is a seasoned professional in research and innovation, currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Nesta since May 2023. Previously, Tim held multiple roles at ZINC, including Research Acceleration Lead, where leadership of the UKRI Healthy Ageing Catalyst Awards facilitated collaboration among experts to transform academic ideas into impactful products for later life. Tim's background also includes significant contributions at Alzheimer's Society, identifying new services for dementia care and authoring crucial reports on COVID-19's impact on dementia. Earlier experiences include a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at University College London, focusing on neuropsychology and cognitive function in dementia, complemented by a Ph.D. from UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford. Tim's expertise lies in user research, co-design, and effective communication across diverse platforms.
