Mikael Männistö

Mikael Männistö is an experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Rotating Equipment Manager and Process Manager at Neste since September 2017. Responsibilities include overseeing project designs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and implementing energy efficiency studies. Previously, Mikael held the position of Senior Process Design Engineer at Neste, leading initiatives on engineering digitalization and process design for both equipment renewal and new installations. Contributions to academia include a tenure as a Doctoral Candidate at Aalto University, where Mikael focused on liquid-liquid equilibria and authored six peer-reviewed articles. Mikael has also worked as a lecturer, sharing expertise in mechanical processes related to chemical engineering, and has held various roles in maintenance and consulting, demonstrating a strong blend of technical and educational experience.
