Taru Taajamaa

Taru Taajamaa serves as the Head of Tax and Customs at Neste Oyj since December 2016, after previous tenure as Head of Corporate Tax from April 2010 to November 2016, successfully establishing an international tax and customs department to support the corporation's renewable strategy. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager at Deloitte Finland, with a one-year secondment as Head of Tax at Outokumpu Oyj, and a Senior Associate position at Roschier, Attorneys Ltd., focusing on various tax-related matters. Taru began professional career as a Team Leader in income taxation at the Corporate Tax Office in Helsinki, gaining valuable experience in tax law and compliance. Educational background includes a Master of Laws in Tax Law/Taxation from the University of Helsinki.
