Amarsinh Desai

Amarsinh Desai has a diverse work experience in the health economics and market access field. Amarsinh currently serves as the Health Economics and Market Access Lead at Nestlé Health Science since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Health Economist at ICON plc from January 2019 to November 2020. Amarsinh also has experience as a PhD candidate and Graduate Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, where they conducted research on various projects related to breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Intern in Global Health Economics at Amgen in 2014. Amarsinh started their career as a Registered Pharmacist at the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council in India from December 2003 to July 2007, and also worked as a Pharmacist Intern at Shree Sardar Smark Hospital in 2003.

Amarsinh Desai holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Health Outcomes from the University of Cincinnati, completed in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters of Sciences degree in Drug Regulatory Affairs from Long Island University in 2010. Amarsinh also holds a Bachelors of Pharmacy degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, completed in 2007. Amarsinh started their education journey with an Associate's degree in Pharmacy from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, in 2004. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in the PILOT Accelerated Career Development Program from PILOT Inc. in 2022.
