Hamid Razifard

Hamid Razifard, PhD, is a Senior Genomics Scientist at Nestlé Purina North America, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Razifard worked as a Senior Genomics Consultant at Cellarity and as a Senior Research Scientist at Embark Veterinary, where contributions included leading strategic partnerships. Educational background includes a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut and a Master's degree in Plant Systematics and Ecology from the University of Tehran. Research experience spans postdoctoral work at Cornell University, teaching positions at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and extensive research on the genomics of tomatoes. Additional expertise encompasses various aspects of genomics, statistical genetics, and bioinformatics pipeline development.
