Ian Walter

Ian Walter is the CEO at Net Feasa, a company that provides consultancy services for aeronautical In-flight connectivity. Prior to their current position, Walter was the VP Aeronautical & Maritime at Netfeasa Ltd from January 2018 to October 2015. In this role, they provided consultancy services to one of the leading aeronautical In-flight connectivity providers in the areas of 4G/5G in cabin cellular connectivity for voice, data and IoT services and BSS/OSS platforms.

Before joining Netfeasa Ltd, Walter was the Director of Product Management - Small Cells at Argela Technologies from July 2014 to October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for developing the Business Requirements and Technical Requirements documents for Argela’s 4G LTE Small Cell products and their advanced 5G Programmable RAN Proof of Concept utilizing SDN and NFV technologies. Ian also developed the technical requirements for a high power RF Power Amplifier and Low Noise Amplifier to extend the range of a small cell up to 10Kms as part of a project to develop a 4G LTE portable first responder solution. In addition, Walter was involved in specifying the third party requirements for satellite backhaul optimization solutions involving TCP acceleration, byte caching, object caching, compression and voice transcoding for 3G and 4G small cells.
