Josh Chin, MSBA has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Josh began their career in 2011 as a Cyber Camp Advisor for US Cyber Challenge. In 2012, they became the International Secretary for the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). In 2013, they were a Mentor for CyberPatriot and a Red Team Member for the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC). In 2014, they joined the Board of Directors for BSidesLA. In 2015, they were a Mentor for Hack4Missions @ Urbana 15. In 2012, they Co-Founded and became Managing Partner of Net Force, where they worked on various projects related to network security and digital forensics. In 2017, they became Chapter Vice President and Chapter Secretary for ISACA. In 2010, they were an Executive Board Member for the Western Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. In 2022, they founded Converge.
Josh Chin, MSBA holds a Master of Science in Business Administration in Information Systems Auditing/Information Assurance from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, which they obtained between 2014 and 2016. Josh also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Computer Information Systems from the same university, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Prior to that, they attended Mt. San Antonio College between 2003 and 2006. Additionally, Chin holds four certifications: Cvent Event Management Certification from Cvent, obtained in May 2020; AccessData Certified Investigator from AccessData, obtained in August 2020; CNSSI-4012 from the Center for Information Assurance, California State Polytechnic University Pomona; and NSTISSI-4011 from the same institution.
