Emily Dao-Forrester has worked in the marketing and sales industry since 2019. Emily began their career as a Brand Manager at Net Friends, where they later progressed to the roles of Marketing Coordinator and Marketing & Sales Coordinator. Prior to their work at Net Friends, Emily worked at StepUp Durham from 2016 to 2019 in the roles of Employment Counselor & Development Coordinator and Duke Divinity Intern.
Emily Dao-Forrester completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Wheaton College from 2009 to 2013. Emily then attended Duke University, where they earned a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Prison Studies from 2014 to 2017. In addition, Emily has obtained four certifications: a Strategies that Build Winning Brands certification from Kellogg Executive Education in December 2022, a HubSpot Content Marketing Certificate from HubSpot Academy in April 2019, a Certificate in Prison Studies & Restorative Justice from Duke Divinity School in May 2017, and a Greensboro Fellows Program certification from the Center for Creative Leadership in April 2014.
