Surya Reddy

Surya Reddy has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Surya started their career as a Software Engineer at the National Institute for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, where they participated in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and developed UI layer logics using JSP, XML, JavaScript, HTML/DHTML, Ajax, and CSS. Surya then worked as a Production Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they prioritized workload and provided resolutions to complex issues. After that, Surya worked at Friendly Consultants, Inc as a QA Engineer and later as a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer. In these roles, they analyzed business requirements, developed test strategies and plans, and created test cases using tools like HP Quality Center and TestRail. Surya also developed automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java, and implemented bug logging and reporting using Extent Reports. Currently, Surya is working at Net Health as a Sr. Software Development Engineer In Test. In this role, they collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to ensure quality in the development process, creates test plans and strategies, and collaborates with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria. Surya also has experience in using Cucumber, Selenium, MSTest, SpecFlow, C#, and Page Object Model for automation testing.

Surya Reddy completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2014 to 2016.
