Paul Briggs

Paul Briggs is an experienced professional in writing and editing, currently serving as an audio transcriber at Net Transcripts, Inc. since May 2019. Additionally, Paul has been a freelance writer for SCD CONSULTING since November 2015, providing blog content for small businesses, particularly on topics like chiropractic medicine. Since January 2006, Paul has been self-employed as a proofreader, editing novels for Diane Marquette and Judy Reveal while checking for grammatical and spelling errors. As a novelist, Paul has authored several works, including "Locksmith's Closet," "Locksmith's Journeys," and "Altered Seasons: Monsoonrise," with another novel, "Altered Seasons: Age of Consequences," forthcoming. Previously, Paul held the position of copy/layout editor at ACM Chesapeake LLC from 1999 to March 2012, where responsibilities included editing news stories, arranging page layouts, and managing web content. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Washington College.
