Carver Pace has a diverse background in information technology and cyber security. Carver served as Chief Plans and Operations for the US Army Staff, Personnel - G1 by developing all CIO/G6 enterprise initiative business systems strategy and policy. Carver also served as Information Technology Program Manager for NetCentrics Corporation, overseeing the creation and management of multiple cross-functional cyber security teams. As the Chief Information Security Officer for the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, they led a team of 31 joint military, civilians, and contractors responsible for information assurance and cyber security. At the Joint Task Force Global Network Operations (JTF-GNO), they served as the Chief, Network Support Branch, responsible for ensuring IT compliance and interoperability of enterprise solutions. In all their roles, Carver Pace demonstrated their ability to develop, implement, and sustain effective and efficient cyber security operations.
Carver Pace has an extensive education history, spanning from 1988 to 2017. In 1988, they received their Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business Operations from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University. Carver later received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Information Technology from Troy University in 2009. In 2004, they obtained a Certification in Management Information Systems, General from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS). In 2008, Carver received a Professional Military Education degree from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, focusing on Military and Strategic Leadership. In 2015, they received their Master of Divinity - MDiv degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Virginia Union University. Additionally, in 1997, Carver received a Professional Military Education degree from Combined Arms Logistic College, focusing on Military Science and Operational Studies. Carver has also earned several certifications, including the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2016 and the CISSP from (ISC)² in 2006.
