Lars Meijers

Lars Meijers has extensive work experience in the software industry, with a focus on security engineering and assurance. Lars is currently the Head of Security Engineering & Assurance at Netcetera - Software matters, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this role, Lars worked as a Senior Security Engineer at the same company from June 2020 to June 2021. Lars also served as an Infosec Associate from 2018 to 2020 and as a Senior Software Engineer from 2017 to 2020.

Before their time at Netcetera, Lars worked as a Software Engineer at Avaloq from February 2015 to August 2017. At Avaloq, they were part of the application framework team and the ASMD team, focusing on the business rule project. Lars also gained experience as a Developer at Adscience BV from July 2014 to February 2015.

In 2013, Lars worked as an Intern Master Thesis at RTreporter, and from 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Part-time Software Developer at Incore Software BV. Lars's professional journey began with a traineeship at QNH from January 2010 to July 2010. Following this, they worked as a Sales Employee at Paradigit Computers from May 2007 to February 2010.

In 2008, Lars completed an internship at QNH, where they collaborated on a web-based CV system. This experience provided him with valuable foundational skills in software development.

Lars Meijers has a strong educational background in the field of technology and artificial intelligence. From 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Master's Degree in Technical Artificial Intelligence at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology degree from Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences between 2006 and 2010, specializing in informatics. Lars'searlier education includes high school at Sint Ursula, where they studied Havo Economie & Maatschappij from 2001 to 2006.
