Senior Network Engineer at NetCraftsmen

Larry Thornton has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and information systems. Larry started their career in 2006 as an Operations Specialist, where they tested ship radar and maintained a display of detected objects. In 2009, they joined the Pentagon as an Information Systems Technician, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems and peripheral equipment. In 2012, Larry worked as a Network Technician at Solers, before joining FBR & Co. in 2015 as a Network Engineer. Larry then moved to FBR in 2016 as a Sr. Network Engineer. Currently, Larry is employed at NetCraftsmen as a Senior Network Engineer.

Larry Thornton completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Coastline College from 2010 to 2012. Larry then pursued further higher education and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Networks and Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Larry obtained several certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in March 2015, Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA from Cisco in October 2012, Network+ from CompTIA in May 2012, Security+ from CompTIA in February 2012, and Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA-Junos) from Juniper Networks in March 2016.
