Damien Bernet

Damien Bernet is an experienced executive with a strong background in media and finance. Currently serving as VP of EMEA Advertising at Netflix since April 2020, Damien is responsible for building and expanding the advertising business in key European markets including the UK, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. Previously, as Director of Business and Legal Affairs at Netflix, Damien played a vital role in establishing the company as a significant presence in the French entertainment industry, fostering relationships with content producers, unions, and regulators. Damien's prior experience includes serving as CEO of Media at Altice Group, where oversight of multiple TV channels and radio stations led to substantial revenue generation. Additionally, Damien held the position of CFO-COO at NextRadioTV, managing leading media brands in France, and started a career at Rothschild as an Associate Director in equity-linked, derivatives, and structured finance. Education was completed at HEC Paris.
