Jared Jackson

Jared Jackson is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading development teams across prominent technology companies. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Netflix since July 2023, Jared previously held the position of Software Development Manager at Amazon Web Services from July 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included managing a team focused on the health of AWS services. Prior experience includes Senior Engineering Manager at Riot Games, contributing to the creation of the successful game Valorant, and Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, overseeing online services for Microsoft Game Studios. Earlier in their career, Jared worked as a Research Associate at IBM’s Almaden Research Center. Jared holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College.
