Kevin Gallagher

Kevin Gallagher is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in software development and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix since July 2012, Kevin focuses on the streaming video player for the new Windows 8 OS. Previous roles include Senior Software Architect at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Software Group Leader at Freeslate Inc., where responsibilities encompassed managing software development teams and enhancing the software development life cycle. Kevin has extensive experience with cross-functional collaboration and project management, having also held advisory and architect positions at Symyx Technologies and DispenseSource, Inc., respectively. Kevin began the professional journey as a Senior Software Engineer at Omnicell and held earlier roles at PPI Motorsports and Ernst & Young. Kevin holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
