Liz Wamai

Liz Wamai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and diversity recruiting. Currently serving as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Netflix since February 2023, Wamai previously held significant roles including Adjunct Lecturer at UC Berkeley Executive Education and VP, Head of Business, DEI and Reality Labs Recruiting at Meta. Wamai has also contributed to organizations such as Ongoza Youth as a board member and led global recruiting strategies at Bloomberg LP as Global Head of Recruiting. Earlier career highlights include positions at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, and The New York Times, complemented by an MBA in General Management and Human Resources from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Education from Moi University.
