Shawn Cochran

Shawn Cochran is an experienced professional in the field of data science and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Analytics Engineer at Netflix since December 2021. Prior to this, Shawn was a Senior Data Scientist at Spotify, where leadership involved supporting the Creator Marketing organization through the development of natural language processing models. Additionally, Shawn has held roles such as Data Scientist at Skyscanner, managing a global analytics team, and has previous engineering experience at Callaway Golf, DART Aerospace, Electric Boat, and L-3 Communications. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computational Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA in Information Systems from San Diego State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
