Youngwook Yang

Youngwook Yang is an experienced software engineer with a robust history in game development. Currently serving as a Lead Engineer at Netflix since January 2023, Youngwook previously held the role of Principal Engineer at Second Dinner, contributing to MARVEL SNAP from February 2019 to January 2023. Prior to that, Youngwook worked at Blizzard Entertainment as Lead Gameplay Engineer on Hearthstone and as a Senior Software Engineer on various projects. Experience spans back to roles at Electronic Arts and Relic Entertainment, with significant contributions to titles like FIFA Online 3 and Company of Heroes 2. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Yonsei University.
