Beizhong Chen

Beizhong Chen is a Principal Engineer at NETGEAR since January 2020, leading the development of the Orbi 9 (WIFI 6E, RBKE96x). Previously, Beizhong served as a Staff Wireless Engineer at Bowers & Wilkins from 2016 to December 2019, contributing to the creation of a 3-radio WiFi module for a high-end audio system and enhancing multiple WiFi functionalities. Prior experience includes a role as Staff Wireless Engineer at EVA Automation, where significant contributions were made to the design and launch of a high-end wireless video hub. Beizhong's career at Qualcomm involved firmware development and validation for WiFi and Bluetooth technologies. Beizhong holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University, with research focused on computer networking and mobility management.
