Larry Kimata

Larry Kimata has four years of work experience. Larry began in 2018 as an ICT Intern at Nairobi City County, where they were responsible for network troubleshooting and maintenance LAN, installation of end user devices CCTV, PCS, softwares, repairing and maintenance of computers, and assisting in deploying certain measures in the new Nairobi county data center. In 2020, they worked as a Tech Support Intern at Truehost Cloud, and as an IT Support Associate at Greenlight Planet. Larry is currently employed as a Customer Support Analyst at NetGuardians.

Larry Kimata has a comprehensive educational background. Larry attended Ndalani Secondary School from 2011 to 2014, where they earned their KCSE. From 2015 to 2019, they attended Machakos University, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. During this time, they also attended Kenyatta University and obtained their CCNA. In 2019, they attended LINUX LEARNING CENTRE and obtained a Linux System and Network Administration 1. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1) from the Linux Professional Institute in 2020, CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA in 2021, Aviatrix Certified Engineer - Multi-Cloud Network Associate from Aviatrix in 2021, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco Networking Academy in 2019, Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate from Fortinet in 2020, and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate from Fortinet in 2020.
