Chris Carter has a solid work experience in the data center industry. Chris started their career as a Sheet Metal Worker at Sheet Metal Workers Local 2 in 1997 and worked there until 2005. Chris then transitioned to MC Realty Group as an Operating Engineer from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, Chris joined DST Systems as a Lead Operating Engineer, where they worked until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Jack Henry & Associates as a Sr. Data Center Facilities Engineer. Chris then became a Data Center Facilities Manager at DataBank, Ltd. from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are working as the Chief Engineer at Netrality Data Centers, starting in April 2020.
Chris Carter completed their education at Joe Herndon Vocational/Technical from 1995 to 1997, where they earned an HVAC Certificate in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration. Following that, from 1997 to 2003, Chris pursued a Sheet Metal Apprenticeship, earning the title of Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker. No specific field of study was mentioned for the apprenticeship.
