Pavel Kumets

Pavel Kumets has a strong background in software engineering and quality assurance. Pavel started their career at IBM in 1994 as a Lead QA Engineer and was responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. In 1998, they moved to Pervasive Software, where they continued to work as a Sr. QA Engineer until 2000. At Colabranet, from 2000 to 2002, Pavel held the role of Sr. Software Engineer. Pavel then joined ThinkShed, which was later acquired by BrassRing, where they worked as a Lead Software Engineer from 2002 to 2004. Most recently, Pavel worked at NetSpend as a Sr. QA Engineer, starting in 2004.

Pavel Kumets completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY, from 1990 to 1993. During the same period, they also pursued a Computer Engineering degree, specializing in Computer Science, at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering. Prior to that, they obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Applied Math from Voronezh Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1983 to 1989.
