Tanya Thorson has a wealth of experience in the marketing, merchandising and business development fields. Tanya began their career in 1997 at Lands' End as a Merchandise Manager for Women's Swim & Cover-ups. In 2004, they moved to L.L.Bean as a Senior Product Developer for Men's Wovens. In 2006, they became a Senior Merchandise Manager for Casual Knit Tops at Justice. In 2010, they joined Chico's FAS as a Senior Merchandise Manager for Jackets & Outerwear. In 2012, they took on two roles at Jockey International, Inc., as a GMM Women's Retail and Senior Director of New Business Development for TARGET Corporation. In 2016, they became the Vice President of Brand Marketing & New Business Development at MUK LUKS. In 2019, they joined Fair Indigo as the Vice President of Marketing & Merchandise. Finally, in 2021, they took on the roles of VP & Head of Global Marketing and Head of Marketing at Network Perception.
Tanya Thorson obtained a BA in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1989 and 1993. Tanya has also obtained seven certifications from LinkedIn since 2021, including Content Marketing: Newsletters, Digital Transformation, Marketing Foundations: Customer Decision Journey, Create a Go-to-Market Plan, Social Media Marketing: Strategy and Optimization, Building and Managing Signature Products, and Developing a Competitive Strategy.
