Darren Choytooa

Darren Choytooa is an experienced professional in the railway consulting and systems integration fields, currently serving as Associate Director at Network Rail Consulting since June 2018, with a focus on Systems Integration SPM for the Digital Systems program at TfNSW. Prior roles include Project Manager, where Darren conducted a review on Infrastructure Incident Response for Sydney Trains, and Assurance & Readiness Manager, ensuring operational readiness for significant timetable changes. Before joining Network Rail Consulting, Darren was Design Interface Manager at Sydney Trains, overseeing stakeholder engagement in station projects. Earlier experience at Network Rail included roles as Infrastructure Maintenance Performance Manager, Business Improvement Specialist, Operations Incident Controller, and Business Improvement Lead, where efficiencies and performance improvements in infrastructure maintenance were prioritized. Darren holds a degree from the University of Leeds, completed in 2009.
