Matt Tanner has a diverse work experience spanning various finance and accounting roles. Matt most recently served as the Vice President of Finance and Operations at Networx since December 2019. Prior to that, Matt held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Alliancesphere from June 2018 to December 2019, where they were responsible for upgrading financial and reporting systems and leading the overhaul of internal infrastructure. Matt was also the Vice President of Finance at Crowchild from January 2018 to April 2018, where they developed investment strategy and managed administrative and accounting personnel.
Before these positions, Matt worked at Orbital ATK as a Finance Manager from May 2017 to January 2018 and as a Segment Finance Lead (COE) from October 2014 to April 2017. At Orbital ATK, they organized a new division service center, managed budgets and forecasts, and directed financial planning for individual business units.
Earlier in their career, Matt was an Assistant Controller at School Improvement Network from March 2011 to October 2014, where they managed the accounting department. Matt also worked as a Senior Accountant at School Improvement Network from May 2010 to March 2011. Additionally, they have experience as the Founder and Owner of Powerhouse Bookkeeping, a Tax & Accounting Intern at Cook Martin Poulson, and an Accountant at Hal Rosen, CPA and Covenant Employment Services.
Matt Tanner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, which they attended from 2006 to 2011. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same institution, focusing on Business Administration, Corporate Finance, and Business Strategy.
