Jason Wehling is the founder and president of Netx. Jason has also worked as a freelance writer, contributing author, and editor.

Jason began their writing career in 1996 with CNET Networks. Jason wrote regular technology articles and reviews, especially for download.com. In 1997, they became a contributing author for "Windows NT and Unix Intranet Secrets" and wrote 500 pages for "Late Night Netscape IFC". The following year, they authored "Late Night Advanced Java", a 624-page book. Jason also served as the editor and author of "PC Magazine’s Webmaster’s Ultimate Resource Guide" from 1995 to 1996.

From 1995 to 1998, Jason was the partner and CTO of Midnight Madness. Jason then became the editor of Portland State University's "PSU University Sentinel" newspaper from 1992 to 1995.
