Tom Eastlake

Tom Eastlake has a strong background in data management and analytics, with over 15 years of experience in various leadership and architect roles. Tom recently worked at Neudesic as the Practice Director for Data & AI, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were at RSM US LLP as the Practice Director for BI and Data Analytics from 2020 until 2022. At RSM, they led data analytics strategy, governance assessment, and architecture planning for Fortune 500 clients.

Before RSM, Tom served as the Global Head of Big Data & Analytics at Getronics/Pomeroy and as the Founder and Chief Architect at Blue Sea Analytics. Tom also held roles at OSI Digital as the Senior Principal BI Architect, Vertical Edge Consulting Group as the Practice Manager and Principal BI Architect, Momentum Consulting Corporation as the BI/Data Architect, Citrix Systems as a Consultant, Edgewater Technology as a Data Architect, and Data Alternatives Corp. as a Principal Solutions Architect.

Throughout their career, Tom has specialized in Microsoft on-prem and Azure solutions, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and Azure advanced analytics. Tom also has experience with Oracle, Teradata, and other data and analytics platforms. Their expertise extends to enterprise data strategy, data governance, data integration, big data visualization, and master data management. Tom has a track record of leading successful business development and consulting sales pursuits, generating significant revenue for their organizations.

Tom Eastlake attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1986 to 1993. During their time there, they studied Computer Science and Aviation. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2016, they became an Oracle Business Intelligence Certified Implementation Specialist. In 2018, they earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance. In 2020, they became a member of American Mensa. In 2022, they obtained two certifications from Microsoft, namely the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals. Finally, in 2023, they received the Profisee LP3 - Master Data Steward certification from the institution Profisee.
